Preparing for a field trip to Africa has been a great learning experience. Everything from passports to shots to getting all the funds needed has provided us with more education than we bargained for.
Westlake High School is the first high school in the country to have an Engineers Without Borders chapter. Our chapter meets on Mondays after school and is currently working on solar projects in relationship to the Imbaseni Village and the United African Alliance Community Center (UAACC) in Arusha, Tanzania.
